Flower Over Love

kevin browne

Oh, tree leaf flower over love
When tightly held up underneath
A heart that feels so close and lonely
Falling from high above.
Oh, why at heavens price
Where silent bird sing with chirp
All us humans dance and weep
Where the good Lord gives us life.
Oh, water thirst my tongue and speak
Where teary eyes run and flood
Heartaches shine in sorrow
Reflections run so deep.
Oh, tender up some simple prayer
Listen to angels singing
A melody just for you and I
My heart has gone, God knows only where.
Oh, share some love with a life I mould
Allow me to be outspoken
A love poem was written on my pen
Where you're there for me to hold.
Oh, flower petal shine on rainy day
Thunderclap and dribble
Teardrops falling over me
Goodbye March, April fools and May.
Oh, summer shine on meadow hill
Daffodils are glistening
Rosebush picked pleasantly
Where cameras have stood still.
Oh, down by Riverside pond and bridge
Lily-pads frog and croak
Where misty fog expires
And dragonflies breed to live.
Oh, old lovers lane kissed goodbye
To someone who was crying
With a sad beating heart
A tear burst out my eye.
Oh, Farewell to the old emotion hit
Weathered friendly passions
Tulips wrapped in flower
Fall in love just a little bit.
