Man who betrayed her

Riak Marial Riak

his first touch on the land

was out of a rav 4 car,

parked next to a neem tree

and you passed by.

your oval face distrusted him

to love today,

before you crossed down town

he stopped you,

soft spasm running down your thin belly

and smiled slyly.

his hands in the pocket

and leaned about the right door

to his car;

"girl, you are what i have seen,

years of driving through thick forest

and among the threats, rough roads.

my eyes cannot let you go by without

recognition.

i wandered if i've seen the unseen

angel skipping over white rope

hanged about moses' neck;

i wandered if i've seen God's secret

worship hall,

to be of cynical mind

what made holy one bow-ed

if we can bow for him?

i want to travell now with you in the mind,

be honest to me".

you were so weak to resist

but your body gets colder

and memorised him alone.

now,

among the thieves and smokers

you follow-ed,

the second touch down

he took you away with him

and could hear the growl of ageing rav 4.

police patrolled the town,

pollution and environmental hazards

rode along with him.

you were taken to complete your life

in a shanty area,

becoming so used to bringing cigarettes

in a nearby shop.

as your body gets colder yesterday

you left home for reason far more than having a child.
