Reflections

DeeDee

When I look at my reflection on the mirror
I don’t recognise myself.
The good girl who was there has gone
The naughty one took place on the dome
How can one be so sweet, yet bad
Happy, yet sad....
Lovingly and uncaring
Cautious but daring...
It’s like two people live here
One far and one near.
Sometimes I wonder
Who will last longer
Who will win this battle
The two souls fighting for love and freedom
For life’s sake and to beat boredom....
It doesn’t have to be a party
But it will be a rollercoasters
It might be not too late to cut it
And start over where we left our struggle...is it worth it?
