I fell in love

Wherein you love someone solely based on what they can do for you

This was a love based in long hours of conversation

Long hours of learning who she is

What she wants

Learning what drives her

And learning that my deepest wish was for her to be happy

Truly happy

The kind of happy all children are when they know no words

Know nothing of the existential crisis that awaits them

Happy

With no doubts

To this day, I wish for her happiness

And would do anything I could to make sure it came around
