Life Feels Like A Great Black Pit Filled With Shit

Life's feeling like a joke right now, feeling like there's a hole in my world, like a great black pit filled with shit and dwelling dark thoughts. Sitting alone, I don't know whether to cry or to laugh while I sit on the edge of this great black pit filled with shit.

Throughout my life, my heart's only been taken a handful of times and when I finally find someone who is a combination of all of them, all of the really good qualities in a woman and gets me in every way, life throws a curve ball and now my life feels like a joke, like a hole in my world, a great black pit filled with shit. Though, she loves me so much she's letting me go because she doesn't want me to suffer with her in her hell. Some guys would actually be happy or overjoyed, but me, I'm devastated. Damn this heart on my sleeve.

Growing up, I learned that if you want to be with the one you love, you go through the thick and thin together and if it's hell, you fight together to get through it. But she still doesn't want me to stay. No matter what I say or how I say it.

Thinking about it, I'm not saying there's not a chance I might find someone out there who wants me now, but it's just that we've been together through so much, too much and I don't know how to say goodbye to that kind of relationship and now it's getting to that point where fighting feels meaningless and at the end of the day, alone, I'm just left sitting on the edge of this great black pit. A great black pit and it's filled with shit and dwelling dark thoughts.
