Strings

Sugar Suicide

I carry about

a handful of strings

throwing them out

to new people and new things

some latch on

others don't

some let go to soon

and some are you

the person I didn't want to throw a line to

the person who threw one for me

the person who was once a a simple conversation

who has now become a series of I love you's

and endless ties

a person I thought I knew the world without,

before learning your are my world

and now I can't face a day without
