Ocean

Carmine

stuck on this rock

i can see the ocean

the waves are high and low

fast and slow

no boat in sight

alone in this empty ocean

i sit

lookin out

staring out

seeing nothing but a empty ocean on the surface

quiet i hear the waves

quiet i hear the wind blowing

waiting for a rescue

to help me out of this lonely rock

i close my eyes and count to ten

in one and two

i hear nothing

in three and four

i hear the ocean

in five and six

i feel the breeze

in eight and nine

i hear a sound

in ten i open my eyes

what i see is to my surprise

a epherian ship

going to my way

to my aid

silently i watch

the boat coming closer and closer

i hear the sound of the beast

is not close

but it is not far

the loudest noise

that anyone could hear

from Calpheon to Valenica

every knight

to

every bowmen

they could probably hear it

closer and closer the boat came

and i finally

came free

from this empty rock

of loneliness

i am no longer alone in this empty ocean

amazing ... a really lovey read ..! 🙂 i love how you have used the rock and the ocean to describe your sense of loneliness and isolation and emptiness , first of all you breath in feeling nothing , then you start to hear and feel what is around you , then you see a ship and there are you .. rescued and no longer lonely ..brilliant , jsut brilliant .. i , myself have a poem were i also used the rock to describe my emptiness, i may share it on here one day
