Throw Away

Doubletop

She'll never be a song you can't get out your head,
She'll never be a page, from the greatest book you've read.
She'll only play a supporting role, never take the lead,
She'll only be a distraction, till you find the one you need.
When her name appears on your phone, your heart won't skip a beat,
You'll never count the minutes until the next time you will meet.
In a world filled with upgrades, she's just a throw away,
She'll never be the one you think of, at the end of every day.

But you were the song, she could never get out of her head,
You were every syllable of the greatest book she'd read.
You would never have been a supporting role, you were her only lead,
You were never a distraction,
You were the only one she'd ever need.
