the past is dead

Sugar Suicide

You take whats turn to rock and ash,

and let me know its all just the past.

with a whip of your hand it all grows anew,

lush trees and overgrowth too.

stones of moss,

and streams of water.

as if a new sun has risen to meet my head.

a new person walked in,

and took everything that was dead.
