To My Young Brothers

Tice Buck

A son that rises to brighten the day

as the sun sets, stay away from they

so called friends do not want to see you win

when you stumble, watch how quickly they grin

This life is serious, no time to play games

think for yourself, don't end up in chains

a real friend sticks closer than a brother

teach right from wrong to value each other

Media actions has ruined young mindsets

false musicians will put your soul to rest

robbing and killing just to think it's cool

boys staring at white walls, looking like a fool

Be great in life, no reason to settle for average

hop on yourself, eat  your own carrots

there's only one life to live, don't become a clone

eat your own meal when being pitched a bone
