Righteous Path

Fondy

Stepping onto new found lands

Going against times own sands

A road filled with taunting adversity

Pursuing this dream that endures tragedy

Fighting the normal demons, I'm beaten down

But my catalyst is no allowing me to drown

Crawling into what seems so dark

Grasping onto hope, the lead to my mark

Beaten and bloody I can faintly see

A path of feelings that will set me free

Climbing upward I escape my cell

Leaving behind the past, a lonely hell

With great strength and courage I am found

Forgiving and forgetting the pains from underground

Now to the end, I can finally see the light

And onward I go to the peacefulness in sight
