Loneliness

Antonis

It's Christmas time
She's just turned 89
She's cold and all alone
She remembers when her family and friends used to grace her home
Now everyone has gone
She's the only one.
No gifts under her tree
All alone she will be with just memories
Of how Christmas used to be
No turkey or mince pies
Just lonely tears in her eyes.
