Nothing

pearlrose

I am trapped.

I am stuck.

I try to break free,

It just won't be.

I feel, I feel, I feel,

Empty.

Everything is dark,

Everything is lost,

Everything is suddenly nothing.

I try to feel,

I try to see,

I try to heal,

I try to be.

But once again, nothing.

I try to reach,

I try to hear,

I try my limbs each,

I am nowhere near. But then,

Everything became something.

I saw a light,

And it shone bright,

I reached out for it,

I try to touch,

I try to be it,

Then nothing came of it.

That something, that everything, became nothing.

Everything is dark, everything is lost, everything is nothing.

I am.

Nothing.
