Fire

Fate

Please dear God put out this flame which burns so hot in my domane.
A flame that burns deep in my soul
Tearing through
Out of control.
I named my flame
It's called true love
Sent to me straight from above
I argue with myself at night
Battling an internal fight
Keeping the flame under control
The one that burns deep in my soul
The flame is high
It keeps me warm
Feeling safe
Away from harm
But wait what's this
What do I see
The flame is taking over me
The very same which gives me light
Has also robbed me of my sight
So much flame but now it's dark
As I blindly disembark
A journey through this flame I hold
As the warmth becomes so cold
I am confused
What feeds this flame
As I search for what to blame
I feel my way on through this place
And I recognize this face
My blindness leads me to this place
Where the only sight is my own face
Just below I feel I'm tor
But there sits what I'm looking for
The reason for my deepest fire
And now the object of my desire
The battle starts up once again
The one that roars on so deep within
But there it is as I transpire
On how I may put out this fire
The battle is for where it starts
It originates within my heart
It's not that easy as you see
To kill this fire inside of me
To kill this fire and have control
I kill myself and lose my soul
