You Told Me

ariana96

This is what you warned me about.

You told me to stay away,

I told you I couldn't.

You told me you would hurt me,

I told you I was invensible.

You told me you would suck the life from me,

I told you I couldn't breathe without you.

You told me you were dangerous,

I told you I'm not afraid.

You told me you didn't have a heart,

I told you I would give you mine.

You told me you hated yourself,

I told you I loved you.

You told me I should get away,

I told you I would never leave.

You told me you would never change,

I told you to stay the same.

You told me you couldn't love yourself,

I told you I would do it for you.

You told me you were full of darkness,

I told you I would light a candle.

You push me away but I always come back.

This is what I warned you about.
