A broken promise, a truth half told rings through his heart
A broken trust, hers and his, become like flames all consuming
A broken future, a dream shattered, slips away with no one to mourn its passing
A broken heart that if they are both sorry can still be fixed
A love damaged, fractured and split, do they want to seal its cracks
A love unfulfilled, stalled and bleeding, they didn’t trust enough to let it grow
A love lost, their perfect journey, ended too quickly before it’s time
A love waiting, waiting to see if her star will call
A beautiful woman, shimmering blue, her heart still frozen
An elegant man, to open, to quick to love
An amazing couple, a dream, a life to live
Theirs is a broken story that needs a leap of faith to finish
