Lost in Translation

LeashaBear56

The hurt never stops

Though she longs for it away

The tears never dry

Though she wipes them night and day

The sorrow that she feels

Though she tries to make it go

Walks past eyes unseen

And to all hearts unknown

Her heart, it shatters often

Though she mends each bend and break

Each day she loses a little more

It's too much for her soul to take

Fresh wounds that cover her body

From the cutting of her skin

Are much harder to hide

Than the blows she takes and gives from within

Life seems to have no purpose

And her faith is long gone

Her life shatters before her eyes
And leaves before the dawn.
