Price for living

Ember

Flowing with the salty waves

Never will be quite the same

Covered in the thick sludge

Started from anothers grudge

The icy water stings

But I still cling

Like a barnical to a ship

Please, don't let me slip

The oceans unforgiving

Is this my price for living?
