One... Two

Endlessly

One… Two
Two is greater than one
Double the one and you get the two
Doubling is a lot to take in
It's easy to become overwhelmed by the doubling
It changed not once but twice
Will it happen again
I don't like math
I have never been good with numbers
In fact i hate them
I hate them
Why did it double
It was unavoidable
Which makes it not my fault right
Yet without that One… Two
The doubling
The math
Nothing would be the same
For better or worse
The doubling occured
But still I ask
Why did it double
Can the number go back to One
I can live with One
But Two
Thats too much
I shouldn't blame them but I do
No man women or child should have to face that double
Numbers are supposed to make sense
But why don't I understand
I miss you One and Two.
