“Tomorrow”

AlinaVanderson

“Tomorrow”

Tomorrow I might not have you

You could be stolen from my clutch

Tomorrow I might not have you

But you say I worry too much

I’ve been sleeping in your sweatshirt

Because I like the way you smell

Because tomorrow I might not have you

And that might hurt like hell

So some luck i’ll have to borrow

Because I might not have you tomorrow

    Nice work Alina!

Thanks for sharing this, I like the break at the end, and the repetition of Tomorrow- like a fear stalking the mind.

    This line though,

Because I like the way you smell

It seems wan in here, like could be stronger... for such a powerful sense as smell, there’s nostalgia and comfort and so on

    Thanks Alina,

    Hope you were lucky,

    S

Thanks I wasn't sure about putting that line in but you changed my mind!
I like the way you look at things my friend.
