What was given

Fate

What is this you've given me
What is it suppose to be
It fits so perfect in my life
A daughter
Two sons
And a wife
What is this
You've added more
A reason to worry and pace the floor
Now that is nice
It fits me well
I'm overjoyed
As you can tell
But wait as if that's not enough
That's not the only gift and stuff
You've added feelings I can feel
And all these things are very real
Theres tears of joy
And tears of pain
Even sunny days
And some with rain
I don't deserve all these things
Oh look it comes with wedding rings
You've went too far
I don't know why
I think that I'm about to cry
As I look on
I must confess
My prior life was such a mess
You've put into it so much time
I bet it cost a pretty dime
I couldn't even ask for more
You've even made my heart feel sore
These feelings that you've given me
Go hand and hand with family
Deep within this gift you've given
Lies my surprise
My reason for living
You placed a box
Just packed with love
It fits as well
Just like a glove
What is all this you've given me
Feelings, a life, responsibility
You sure did know what I was needing
You probably heard all my prayers and pleading.
