Our Country

Evoeh65

We used to believe
In the good Lord above
Our country was founded
On our faith and our love.
Now our Left and our Right
Are battling once more
And with another country
We may be locked in a war?
Let's go back over 200 years
When this Democracy began
No media. No internet.
By our Constitution we ran.
It's not about our color
Black, Red, Yellow or White.
Race isn't really the issue
We're getting into this fight?
We have lost all our values
The good old U.S. of A.
We're coming apart at the seams
It's getting worse every day.
Let's all pray for the peace
To get along here once more
God knows we can do it
Because we've done it before.
