"It's just a bullet, baby.
Why you gotta
Make a big thing
Outta nothing?
He's fast asleep, baby!
It won't even sting.
I'll tell you what.
Do this for me and I'll buy you
That ring you saw up
In the pawn shop.
He'll hear you crying,
Baby, stop.
You want him to call the cops?
No? That's what
I thought.
Now pull the trigger.
God, you look so hot.
That little dress!
That little dress
That I bought.
Fits you just right.
My favourite part is
The lace.
Don't touch a thing,
Baby.
We musn't leave a trace - wait!
You got some of
His blood on your face - hah!
That'll show the bastard.
He had nowhere to hide.
Hey.
You ever thought
We're kinda like Bonnie
And Clyde in that old
Movie?
'Cept we won't get fried.
We're too smart
For that, ain't we?
Come over here
And kiss me.
Don't hide your face,
Baby,
Let me see!
Now baby,
Lets not disagree 'cause
I know you don't like me
When I'm angry.
Are you still mad
About last night?
I know you don't like it
When I fight, but
You should've seen the way
He looked at you!
I had to make him black
And blue.
Shame it went to far,
But what was I
S'posed to do?
Let him kill me?
Is that what you wanted,
Baby,
For me to let him kill me?
Where are you going?
You have nowhere to run!
It's just the two of us!
Stop ruining the fun!
I'd like to remind you
Who's DNA
Is on the gun.
Not me baby!
All you, you're a
Dead woman walking.
If they called me
To the stand,
I'd do all the talking.
Send you down, down
The river.
Like a cat in a bag.
Would you rather be a free woman
Or a locked up old hag?
Lock yourself in our room,
I don't care!
That's fine!
At the end of the day,
You'll always be mine.
It's okay.
I forgive you.
That's just who I am.
I know I'm not perfect,
But I love you as much as I can."

- Comment from author about the poem: Fans of Eminem or Jay Z will probably recognise the inspiration for this title. It started off in my head as the normal romanticised idea of Bonnie and Clyde as two trigger happy lovers leading exciting lives, but soon became something a bit darker, infused with my own perspective of love and control within relationships.
