Voice of Anxiety

Naeners

Look at you

Are you feeling distressed

Each word stumbles out like a tumbling mess

They hate you

Can't you see

Their eyes are staring judgingly

And if their eyes could shoot daggers

You know that they would surely stab you

The stares all dissect you slowly

Ripping you apart searching for something

Maybe confidence

They won't find an ounce

Maybe that's how they know to pounce

Is this all in my head

It just might be

But all I can see is them hating me
