I am not

I am Not Poem
I am not a person who will stand by when someone Is hurt,
I do not wonder about what it will be like once I am famous, because I know that is not likely.
I do not hear silence, something is always going on around me.
I do not see what is to come in the future.
I do not want to be considered vulnerable or weak.
I am not a person who will stand by when someone Is hurt

I do not pretend that I am perfect, because I know that I am the farthest from it.
I do not feel like I am sure of my religion or that i have ever felt true happiness.
I do not let others touch me when I am upset, unless I feel like they are worried about me. I like having my space.
I do appear to worry about what others think of me, even though I really do.
I do not cry about the present, I try to live life in the moment despite of my anxieties about the past and the future.
I am not a person who will stand by when someone is hurt.

I do not understand how someone can be mean to another person.
I do not say mean things to other people intentionally, ever.
I do not dream happily, I am always having stressful dreams.
I do not try to to pretend to be someone else, I just don’t like everything about myself being known.
I do not hope that I am normal, despite sometimes thinking that’s what i want. Being normal is boring and untruthful.
I am not a person who will stand by when someone is hurt.

The power of words! I love it. Smooth like wine.
