Do you think of me?
Cause I think of thee.
Often, even when drinking tea.
We had so many plans,
would you still join me?
You asked, "Can we still be friends"
here I am.
I said I'd give time if it was needed,
but I won't wait if you're going to be conceited.
You said you loved me and I believed it, so
don't make me feel more a fool or depleted.
We had so many things to do
it was simple, not a trip to Peru.
I hope you hold on a bit like I do
I hope you know I still love you.

Well written, Adrianna, but it does sound a bit like you are barking up the wrong tree! But hey, what do I know!
Thanks. Yeah I am a bit but I am young, isn't that what I'm suppose to do at least for a little while?
I stand corrected! I always thought that when one is young one should play the field! 🙂 Kind of get experience, eat different foods, see the world, don't take life too seriously yet (it will get serious soon enough, I can assure you from my experience), and finally try to have as much fun as possible.
A lovely appealing poem. I ESP loved the creatively thought up "conceited "line, yeah nicely said, way to go to find out certainty of love. Thumbs up.
Soo nice to read from u again. Pls do review comment my latest poem too, titled,"play it on your lips"
