Christmas Presents Everywhere
It was a special time of year
With Santa Claus and good cheer
And gifts exchanged to show our love
With special thanks to God above
We spent much more than we should
With the gift of giving feeling good
And songs and carols sung by many
Celebrating the night of plenty
Excited children went to bed
With Santa Claus there in their heads
In hopes their stockings he would find
When down the chimney he had climbed
The children awoke on Christmas day
And found the gifts the elves had made
And were thankful Santa had come
With his gifts for everyone
We took communion on Christmas day
Before the kids went home to play
With a thankfulness in our prayers
That we had presents everywhere

Great poem WC. I've been finding tough to buy for my father and sister in recent years. My father just keeps saying he doesn't want anything. And my sister I can't think of anything she needs or would want. As we get older it seems gift cards are the only choice. And as I said, my father doesn't want anything. But Christmas is about giving each other gifts on Christmas day. Anyway, I hope your Christmas is merry and filled with family time and love.
Thanks so much for your comment, AP. I too have loved ones that are difficult to buy for. I have to admit that i've bought gift cards for some of them. It's so much easier that way, and they can purchase for themselves something they really need or want. And i've even resorted to cash for some.lol Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and that you get something that you really want
