Loss of Someone

L. Wolfe

It seems we lost you way too soon

but we’ll always remember you by the moon.

The way you laugh and your smiles

we’ll carry that with us for many miles.

We know you’re happy with loved ones gone

and we’ll see you again at eternity’s dawn.

Rest now in your magnificent bed

while surrounded by wild roses of red.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this for my grandma’s funeral. She was a very special lady and she is still loved and missed to this day. Please tell me what you think.
