A Bug In My Soup

A Bug In My Soup

There was a bug in my soup

He was a little piece

His sectioned body swam and moved

With six paddling feet

I don’t know exactly what he thought

He was getting himself into

In need of a meal I have no doubt

But I was hungry too

I tried to spoon him out of there

But he swam away

I finally caught him as he dared

And ate him anyway

I had a bit of indigestion

And knew it must be him

Would I throw up was the question

Or more precisely when
