Sleep my little one

Carmine Branco

Sleep my little one,

sleep and dream on.

No tears to shed,

no cry be heard,

no sore touch

your sweet forehead.

Sleep my little one,

sleep and no fear.

Whisper my name,

whisper and I'll hear,

whisper and I will run

and will always be there.

Farewell my little one.

Farewell to flesh and blood.

My time has come,

God's will is done

and I pray that one day

we will be, again, together.
