I can see into the future.
Are you surprised at what I've said?
The future's there for me to see,
Though you may think I've lost my head
I speak to you a simple truth;
Though in a riddle it may seem.
I can see into the future,
Let me tell you what I have seen.
I've seen an end to poverty,
There is an end to all the strife.
Battle cries can't be remembered,
No needless wars for taking life.
I can see no children crying.
I see no weapons fired in vain.
No woman is seen lamenting.
Not one man feeling pain.
I have seen no disappointment,
There is no wanting in my view.
I can see beyond tomorrow,
What I have told you will come true.
I've seen the glory of heaven.
I have seen Jesus' Kingdom Come.
I saw him collect God's children,
Rewarding each and all as one.
You can see into the future;
Though some may think you've lost your head.
The future's there for you to see.
Are you surprised at what I've said?
