Ponders of my world

L. Wolfe

All alone I sit and ponder.

Is the world flat over yonder?

Seas are deep with oceans wide,

can never see the other side.

Listen close to Mother Nature,

always loving and trying to nurture.

Winds howl and skies talk,

mountains build or maybe walk.

Has civilization once lived and died?

Can’t know but choose a side.

Many forms of 'civilizations' have come and gone, I'm quite sure. Good thoughtful write, 'L'.

      Thank you!
I’m new to writing so your words are very encouraging.
