Tyrant

LukeCoomer

Tyrant

What is this you make me do?
Why am I tasked to bleed for you?
You make me fight, you don’t tell me why
I’m just supposed to fight and die!
You don’t keep your promise
You dump poison on us
And we are to ignore your deeds
It is what you decree!
Never mind the man behind the curtain
Never mind your homeless, hungry and hurting
A Tyrant takes and uses
Claiming to save you while forcing you to hide your bruises
Claiming to help you with constant excuses
Walking towards the hangman to knot your own nooses
