When "love" didn't matter because
You had two others
Who held you together
And pairing off wasn't important
It all came through time
Everything changed
And it felt evil
But we liked it
We pushed people away
We let each other stay
Now they're gone
And you've forgotten about me

- Comment from author about the poem: I had two friends and we texted and talked every day and told each other everything. I had a crush on one of them and he had a crush on me. When I told him I didn't like him anymore, things got awkward and we never talk anymore. I'm heartbroken and feel alone without him.
