Unfit

Naeners

I think I could lay here for awhile

I wish I could forget your smile

The way you gazed into my eyes

You leaving me is no surprise

Cause I was never good enough

I know that sometimes I am rough

But I would have tried to fix me for you

I would have done all I could do

Am I really such a mess

That our love just brought you stress

When I held your hand I could have flown

The warmth of you was beautiful and unknown

But when you held mine, I was a weight

Another problem on your plate

I held you down, I never wanted that

And when you left I fell with a splat

You fly away, like you should

Please try to live a life that's good

You deserve everything you dream

I'll drown my sorrows in ice cream

very very good 🙂 i love the ending , referring to ice cream . i love how you bring reference to him making you want to fly away , this gives off almost a high and dreamy feel to your words , i also like how you feel like to him you are only a weight and you fall off the plate with a splat.. i like the light heartedness you bring to this piece, nicely done , enjoyed , nice flow and feel to this piece too , welld done
