my job.

only@night

i’m there for my friends because i don’t want them to feel alone. i don’t want them to feel the way i do. sitting in my room. alone and crying quietly so no one can hear you. i want them to smile all the time and forget about those who broke their hearts into a million pieces because mine is still shattered. i want them to laugh because i can’t seem to be that happy. i want them to feel great about themselves because i tear myself down. that is my job. i’m there for my friends. i️ support them because that is my job. one night that they cry themselves to sleep is my fault because i️ wasn’t there for them.
