Get back to the source

So, you have two people sitting. In two different places. Doing two different things. Sharing the same situation. Both hurt in different ways, but are joined by putting pride over reconciliation. Fingers are being pointed with verbal actions attacking like...It was you who created this situation or you're the reason why this is happening. Nobody has ever sit down to find the source of the situation created. Only listening to make a reply, and making empty, mean and bold statements. Is this truly why they married, for a temporary cause? Telling the for better or worse said at the wedding...to just fuck off. Were they ever really ready to assume the marital positions? Maybe they were maybe they wasn't, but marriage is still God's vision. Soul mates they became along with four children. Years they put in, not normal for this generation. Always vowing they would never be put in society situations. Two of God's creations, they knew him and his word. But they failed to put God first, and the devil overheard. The power and potential their marriage had, couldn't be reached at the time. Every little bad situation, usually easy resolved. Was being tucked away for the devil's cause. The enemy worked on her, to get to the man. Taking her out of character and into situations, she never had been. Causing the man to slowly weaken, instead of assuming his role. He fell into acceptance and started to lose control. God had their backs, he was there the whole time. Nobody ever looked up, they were too busy giving up. They both never got down on their knees together to say God is in control today. So, things were slowly going down, out of there control. Things seemed to get better but God still wasn't the head. There was life he needed to put back in the parts of them that was dead. Going to church and talking about God means nothing if your not consuming what your being fed. The moments that's seemed good was just temporary. The devil wasn't done. He knew if they didn't give everything to Christ, he was going to have so much fun. The confusion and personal choices in their household was set. It wasn't enough faith and trust for the enemy to be offset. He gave a mighty blow to head of the household. Tore the whole family apart, bringing damage to both of their hearts. The head never seen it coming. Never realized it was a trap and a set up. Never realizing if he would have had forgiveness in his heart. He never would have never messed up. They never took the time to go to God and therapy when things were fresh, so they could breathe. So, when everything came crashing down, the head took all the heat. Without the head there is no tail. Without God first your marriage can fail. The good thing about this story is that with God it's never too late. If true love exists there is still room for God to create. If the two are believers there is things he can do. He can take all the mess, lust, envy and anger out of you. He can take a broken home, and build a mansion. He can take the tears of pain, and build a pool of joy. He can do anything you ask of him, if this is what you believe. He can take the fear and embarrassment out of the picture. So, you can go after what you really want and need. With the lessons they have learned, he can make them a power couple and a blessing, helping other couples stay together and focus on Christ. What are we here for anyway. We are here to live out God's plan. Even though we get off track sometimes. It's never too late to seek the one who has all power in his hands. Do you understand?

PREACH! I loved this line "Going to church and talking about God means nothing if your not consuming what your being fed." I've had to tell myself on some occasions. Thanks for a passionate story!
