Sadness

Jean R. R. Branson

Sadness
a dark cloud in the mist
an unforgiving stench of pity that makes
clouds cry
flower wither
a touch as rough as the Earth and as cold as the night
like water that can't quench your thirst
hides in the darkness of the moon
