i never thought that one day i would think a thought about you
and hurt like this
i always thought that i would love and cherish
the thoughts and the memories
because they made me happy
but now your gone
and because they made me happy
they make me sad
i never thought i would resent you
but then again
i never thought you would leave

- Comment from author about the poem: the love of my life left me after 2 1/2 years 2 weeks ago for another women and i wanted to write about it. i just couldn't bring myself to at the time. times are tough but i am sticking through and moving forward. not the best poem but it is just a thought that runs threw my head quite often. hope everyone has a good night and thanks for reading!
