Whatever it is I'm looking for
I'm not sure you'll understand
It's not written in a manual
Nor found on the backs of hands
Wherever it is I'm heading to
I'm not sure you'll imagine
It's not located on a satellite
Nor a place yet discovered
You say it's a mistake
To get to deep into it
Parents and politics
I say no one ever learned how to swim
Floating in the shallow end
There's a version of life that your body feels
And a lie inside your mind
There's a version of truth that your soul builds
Through the light inside your eyes
There's a love out there somewhere
Not waiting to break my heart
There's a loving family to liberate me, waiting for me to start
On this road travels no cars no pollution surrounds the trees
The fields of green are free to run through
And the Lake calls you into swim
Everyone is welcome and you're not forced to make small talk
Everyone has a reason but needs not one to belong
We're free to leave at any time, we're also free to stay
Freedom here has no price and money has no place
Wherever it is I'm heading for
I hope one day you'll understand
Once you've thrown away the Manuals
And looked past the back of your hand.
