He loves me, She loves Him not.

Davona0224

Taking a deep breath in and out

I approach to you with a smile.

Blood rushing, rosey cheeks

Just ready to say something.

I look you in your eyes while you look into mine,

So cold.

Honestly afraid to love you,

We break apart, slowly.

It hurts.

Blanking out all the sounds around,

I hear my heart beat.

"It's for the better"

I tell myself.

I just want to be your friend.

I can't lose you,

You understand me.

I trust you,

You turn your back,

I turn mine.

We walk our seperate ways.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I had a guy friend who I loved dearly, came to find out he wanted more than a friendship. I told him, "I don't want to lose you", he didn't understand. He is no longer my friend, all I wanted was a great friend like him.
