How to Grow a Beautiful Garden

poemsbyliz

My rot and decay planted and rooted itself.

Self-hate and harm spread throughout my veins,

spreading everywhere.

Until I learned to love myself,

there was only more rot and decay

seeding itself all through my brain.

Only when my body knew self-love,

did a beautiful garden begin to grow.
