Mosquito (AKA- Blood Sucker)

Mosquito

AKA Blood Sucker

Like little helicopters they flew along

From some water standing long

And lit upon my waiting skin

With other copters flying in

Each little craft adjusted his pitch

Taking off as I began to itch

And drilled on many other sites

And continued so all through the night

And flying in a loose formation

Each day they drilled a different station

Where they found a bit of blood

With whelps from drilling I withstood

The little menaces returned to pools

Where stagnant water was the rule

And where they turned their engines down

With all the fuel that they had found
