Suicide Survivors

Suicide Survivors

For the family of a suicide

Depression sometimes waits

To take them under its spell

And color dark their days

Everything is a different hue

And hangs thick in the air

where it cannot be trusted

to leave the family spared

The feelings can be contagious

And sadden happy souls

It is really quite frustrating

For the family when all's told

The spell can be all-encompassing

And leave one in a trap

Where he struggles to be free

And not dwell on things gone passed

The days slowly change

And the family smiles again

With the hugs and love of all

Healing the hurt within
