Limbo

Tom.H

Limbo
Grasping at my future,
My clutches filled with love and happiness
New people, new experiences, new feelings
A sense of freedom
Life is finally for-filling
But.
I need permission
Days go by, faces seen, laughs and emotions shared
Through the most intimate of times
With that one person whom my heart aches for
I still need permission
How am I meant to live my life
When my parents shadow stands above me
It’s funny really
Because, let’s be honest
Is it your parents shadow your under
Or humans themselves
Ego
Id
All made up words
Just to keep you in limbo
