Broken Pieces

Marie Braden

Broken pieces upon the ground can be redesigned,

When love found with hands holy and divine,

Gather them up Lord,

Lord they are mine!

Broken pieces broken are a heartbroken velance,

Chipped all through the mind,

No one else seems to find,

Yes the echoes across a span reminds of God's promises to man,

One day ill put them all together again!

Sparkly hue all shining like morning dew,

Make them all new,

Broken pieces,

Broken pieces,

Repairing them is what God does,

Broken pieces,

Broken pieces,

Scattered upon the ground,

And the heart echoes,

Oh, oh oh,

Now I lay me down.
