Mary's Mind 1

Thoff1

Different circumstances build
Different people,
Eyes have rolled and guilds
been formed. Humanity will
always find a way to make things messy.

Men and women given possessions
and purposes. Doing their best
to use what they've been given, passions
worked on or left to slowly fade into rest.
What could've been is the question.

Then you think of him.
He didn't care if you wore rags
or were dressy.
Now you must swallow the pain
and practice suppression.
