Trapped

Tom.H

Trapped

No want for commitment

There is not a pressure on earth which tantalises drive, For

A blood bursting passion I do not possess

Why do I stay?

good question

Is it easier?

so focused on how you are be deemed as by judgmental eyes

you forget these are the very eyes

who's you so willingly cast aside

Your convince yourself that you are fine

That the bruises don’t hurt, it won’t happen again

A silly mistake, a glitch in the system

Lets not waste another second on this pathetic excuse

you've fallen out of love, please leave me be

For I don’t know if the sun will be brighter tomorrow

but i know it’ll be there,

ready

silently waiting

For I am not trapped,

A bird flying free

A lifetime to spend, not on you.

But on me.
