Understanding Me
Help me understand me
That I can see what our Father sees
And help me make the changes
That improves and rearranges
Take my inventory
And help me truly know my story
My own biography
Of all the things that make up me
Help me to get better
And stay dry in life’s nasty weather
And please don’t let me storm
Or rain down in any form
Help me put You first
So You can quench my terrific thirst
And help me assist the others
That they can truly be my brothers
And help me not to stumble
Or be any less than honest and humble
And help me to walk on
While leaning on You to keep me strong

A fine write wc. This seems like a hymn-poem, if only I could fit a tune to it, and maybe adapt it slightly. Shall I try?
Thanks Orchidee! By all means, adapt the poem. I would be very flattered!
Lean upon us all you need to WC,
That we all can truly be sisters and brothers.
Thank You AP! Let's all be a big, happy family!
I believe we already are Bill. Sisters and brothers from different mothers.
wc...
I’m not there yet either!
caught in a fog....
a relentless storm...
that will not cease...
drowning...
no life jacket to be found!
A sincere and truthful
writing! Thank you for
sharing!
