Remembering November

Roland Landa

I’ve been thinking about you in every way.
For some reason a part of me just can’t get over those November days.
Something so long ago, something so stupid
Yet, it’s something I crave.
I’ve been thinking about what happened, and what could have been.
Sorry if you’ll never see this, because I usually keep this tucked away within.
But just know you’ll always be something and someone I’ll never forget.
I’ve been thinking about how you’ve grown without me, and how great you’ve become.
Not needing me was so good for you.
But me needing you has been the worst...

I’ve been thinking about you in every way,
I’m so happy you’re better off today, than I was yesterday.

You know November is when I expressed my first thoughts when my beloved went away but the departure left me with thoughts that will never fade away from that November day
